
Mr. Hawley’s practice is centered on municipal law and prosecution, personal injury, DWI defense, business planning and representation, real estate transactions, estate planning, family law, and general litigation. A graduate of University of Central Missouri, Mr. Hawley spent two years a President of the UCM Student Government, and two years as a captain for the UCM Mock Trial team. During his time at UCM he began clerking for the firm, and spent a summer clerking for the firm during law school as well. He then attended University of Missouri School of Law, graduating with the distinction of Order of the Barristers for contributions to advocacy programs. During law school Mr. Hawley represented Mizzou as a member of the law school trial competition team, while earning the Ike Skelton, Sr. award for Outstanding trial work, the Fred L. Howard Prize for Excellence In the Advancement of Advocacy, the R. David Ray Trial Advocacy Award, & the Allan H. Parke Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, all while serving as a note & comment editor for the Missouri Law Review. Mr. Hawley has called Warrensburg home for several years, with family roots in Johnson County. In his spare time, Luke enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephew.
